The Newport News Jaycees (Junior Chamber) is the premier volunteer organization for young men and women ages 21-40. We provide leadership training through community service and business/social activities. As of June 2007 we are the newest Jaycee chapter in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Newport News Jaycees will be focusing on community service in the city. We will be working such projects as a monthly soup kitchen, quarterly adopt-a-spot, and working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula. We are also looking into volunteering with the Meals on Wheels and Senior Meals Programs.

Membership in the Newport News Jaycees is $75 for one year, which includes membership in the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce and Junior Chamber International.
